History of the School

take a look at our past

The Multinational School Riyadh opened in September 1998 in response to a growing need for high quality private international education in Riyadh.

From small beginnings of about 100 students, we have since grown to be one of the top schools in Riyadh with a roll of over 1600 students and still growing.

Our success is in part due to strong school management and in part due to our philosophy - ‘no child left behind’. Our Principal, Julia Jefferson has upheld this in everything we do ensuring that every child, no matter what their ability, is given every chance to reach their full potential. This has resulted in developing one of the best learning support programmes in the Middle East, with comprehensive and sophisticated methodologies to support all students.

“What I like most about Multi is how accepting the school is. I get feedback from students who left years ago about how friendly the environment is and how they felt special here. That’s what I value most, the children’s experiences. As a staff member, I love the opportunities I get – I’m always learning, every year is different and I’m never bored. The school is always growing and changing and we grow with it.”
